Heidi is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Montana. Her approach is holistic as she believes mental health is part of wellness. Change occurs by recognizing that our thoughts influence our feelings and behavior. Learn how to replace unhelpful thought patterns, regulate emotion,. use mindfulness techniques, and make positive behavioral change. Anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, self-esteem and other mental health issues will improve. This leads to living more authentically. Menopause and Hormonal Health Coaching
Hormones have a huge effect on our mental health and wellness. Changes in estrogen, progesterone and testosterone during Perimenopause and Menopause result in many physical and emotional symptoms – hot flushes,, night sweats, forgetfulness, irritability, depression and other health issues to name a few. It can be bloody hell!
Other hormones, like cortisol (stress), glucose, thyroid, melatonin (sleep) have an effect too.

Herbalism and Curative Nature
Heidi is a Certified Herbalist making use of plants, weeds and herbs to use for medicinal and edible uses. She constantly gathers on her hikes and her gardens are full of valuable plants and herbs. Making teas, tinctures and elixirs are her speaciality whatever the ailment.
Nature is curative. Heidi experiences this first hand through a myriad of outdoor activity but mainly solo hikig and backpacking and her world adventures – solo walking the Camino, Hyland Way, Dolimites, and the Dingle. Past, present and future does not exist just now on the trail.
